Delete your account.
How to delete your Kwikiz account, or only some of your data, and what happens to it. Kwikiz is made by Pixlabe LLC.
You can delete your account at any time, for free, from the app or by email. It closes straight away and everything is erased 14 days later.
In the app
The same steps work in the Android and iPhone apps and on the web at kwikiz.com/app.
- Open Kwikiz and sign in.
- Go to Profile › Your data › Delete my account.
- Tell us why if you like (optional), then confirm with your password or by typing DELETE.
By email, without the app
Write to hello@kwikiz.com from the email address of your account, with the subject "Delete my Kwikiz account". We may ask you to confirm it's you, then we close the account for you.
What happens next
- Straight away: your account is closed and you're signed out everywhere. Reminders stop, and a Kwikiz Plus subscription bought on the web stops renewing.
- For 14 days: you can change your mind. Sign in and choose Keep my account.
- After 14 days: your data is erased for good and we send one last email to confirm it.
- Subscriptions bought in a store: if you subscribed through Google Play or the App Store, also cancel it in that store's subscription settings, since the store bills you.
What is deleted, what is kept

| Battles | Deleted: your battle results and answers. |

| Emails | Deleted: the record of emails sent to you. |
| Product analytics | Deleted: your analytics profile and its events. |
| Payments | Your payment profile is removed. Invoices and payment records are kept by our payment provider as long as tax and accounting laws require (up to 10 years). |
| Help and feedback reports | Kept up to 3 years, with no link to you. |
| AI usage records | Kept up to 13 months, with no link to you. |
| Accepted terms | The record of which terms you accepted is kept 5 years after the account closes, as proof. |
| Deletion record | An anonymous note that an account was deleted (date, plan and the reason you gave, if any), with nothing that identifies you. |
| Backups | Erased data disappears from our rotating backups within 12 months. |
Delete only some data, and keep your account
- Profile photo: tap your photo in Profile, then Remove photo.
- A paused round: open it, tap the X, then Discard round.
- Saved questions: unsave them from your saved list.
- Analytics: turn them off in Profile › Legal & privacy › Privacy & cookies. Nothing more is collected.
- Emails: turn off reminders and the newsletter in Profile › Emails, or from any email.
- Anything else, or a copy of your data: write to hello@kwikiz.com.
